Use of Follow-up Date in Contact / Account Module

In our scenario, we have to call a few of our customers at a regular interval of time to stay in touch with them. Generally, commercials & executions are done by my team, and I have to call senior members on the customer side, like directors, partners, and plant managers for order-related or pricing-related concerns. It is being difficult to note down in diary and follow-up based on that. Can we use follow-up date field in contact / account module and will it show today’s followup reminder on OPR dashboard? If not what can be way around on this?

Yes it’s possible, but we can use, in this case feedback or / cross sales tickets on recurring basis.

How to do that in SangamCRM? Can you please give any documentation or video if available? Also, if we create tickets, then whats the use of next followup date field in Accounts / Contacts module?
