What is the fundamental difference between product master & Product?

Can you share a video link as well for reference?

Sir, Product Master is your Line item, which can be use in Quotaiton and all.

and, Product is which you sold, with Serial Number. to Track AMC and Expiry of Service, Warranty etc.

Thanks. So In Product, customer has to includes details manually post sales which they need to track ?

Though all replies are right, if you look at it like it helps.

  1. Product Master contains ‘Master’ data i.e., it remains fixed (more or less) and does not change. It’s a Price list of all products.

  2. Product contains ‘line items’ of the sales invoice. It fetches product from the product master and adds important field values like ‘serial number’, Quantity, Start date, End date etc.
