I’ve recently asked my on-field sales team to do location check-in and check-out whenever they visit an account on the “Accounts” module.
Where can I check this data? For example if my user, Kamlesh, is on the field today and I want to see all his check-ins today so far. How do I check that?
There are multiple ways to check your team’s location check-in and check-out data:
Dashboard: In the OPR Dashboard’s Results section, you’ll be able to see “completed activities”. You can set the time period on result section (e.g., today, yesterday, this week, this month) to view relevant data. When you click on Completed Activities, you’ll see how many visits each user has completed within the selected timeframe. You can click on a particular user’s name (e.g., Kamlesh) to view a detailed list of their visits. In this list view, you can add or remove fields to suit your needs. For further details, click on the activity name to open the visit’s detail view, where you can see check-in/check-out times, locations, attachments, etc.
Reports: Another way to access this information is by creating a custom report. Go to Reports, click on Create, name your report, and select Activities as the target module. Choose Detailed Report as the type, then save. After that, select a filter (e.g., created at: today, last 7 days, or custom date range) and click Apply. This will give you a complete report of visits done within the specified period. You can customize the fields on report further by adding fields from the left side panel.
All check-in and check-out data of your field executives is saved in the Activities module. If this module is primarily used for field visits only, then you can consider renaming it to Visits from studio for clarity.
