I have a few queries regarding WhatsApp and Mail campaigns

  1. Can we send attachments in WhatsApp campaigns? I tried, but the attachment didn’t go through. (I don’t have any third-party integration; this is the default WhatsApp campaign feature in the CRM).

  2. While running WhatsApp/Mail campaigns, some messages and mail remain in the ‘processing’ or ‘failed’ status indefinitely. What could be the reason for this, and how can it be resolved?

  3. Can we send user-wise email campaigns? What steps are needed for this?
I have only configured the outbound support email in the admin panel. When trying to send user-wise email campaigns, I am encountering an error.

Please refer to the image below for more details:

Hello Ma’am,

Regarding your query:

  1. WhatsApp Attachments:
Yes, you can send WhatsApp attachments (supported by WhatsApp) using the Quick Reply feature. Create a quick reply on WhatsApp and add the quick reply name in the template, e.g., /test.
  2. Pending or Processing Status for WhatsApp and Email Messages:
  • WhatsApp:
If you are not using tools like Gallabox, you need to run the automation (play button) from the Sangam CRM mobile app in the WhatsApp module.

  • Email:
    • Check the email configuration.
    • If using SMTP, ensure the “From Name” and “Email ID” in the template match the centralized configuration in Admin > Email Configuration. (Note: SendGrid allows this.)
    • If the issue persists, please inform us.
  1. User-wise Email Campaigns:
Currently, it’s not possible to send user-specific email campaigns. However, if you are using SendGrid, you can choose to send campaign emails from a specific email ID. While it doesn’t bifurcate emails within the same campaign, you can configure different campaigns to send emails from distinct email IDs.

Additionally, as per the image you provided, the error suggests that the “From Name” and “Email ID” in your template differ from the SMTP setup configured in Admin > Email Configuration.

Let us know if further assistance is required.

Can we configure both SendGrid and SMTP in the same CRM?
I mean, one email ID for SMTP and a different one for SendGrid?

I want to understand how to set up SendGrid email. Do you have any video or document on this? If yes, could you please share it?

Hello Ma’am,

Please note that SMTP and SendGrid cannot work simultaneously; you can use only one at a time.

To configure SendGrid, kindly refer to the post below.
