fyi…attachments module means notes module
We have masters like product masters, contacts, companies etc and for each of their records we have multiple attachments. The team for the masters is correct set but the team for its attachments is the default. Since the team for masters and its attachments is different hence users cannot access the attachments within the masters.
-
How to automatically set the team of attachments as per the team of its masters ?
-
In the list view of attachments module, why is “related to” field blank for most of the records ? In the detailed view of product masters, in the sub panel of attachments the value of “related to” is correct for all records
-
In the list view of attachments module, I want to add a column “showing team of the master record”
-
In roles, for attachments I have given “all” permission for viewing rights but still user is not able to view all records ? is this because he is not part of that team ?
-
In roles, what is the meaning of access type normal / admin ?

- Normal: Team-based access and permissions are applied.
- Admin: No team-based access or permissions are enforced for that module.

- Thanks. Admin means user will be able to access the module, list, view, create, edit, delete, import, export, mass update all records ? If yes, then other drop-down become irrelevant ? If no, then permissions can be restricted using other dropdown ? - better if you share detailed documentation regarding the same
