Email campaign - recipient duplication

Hi,

In the list of leads that I have in Sangam CRM, there are duplications because same people have reached out to me for different inquiries.
I want to send an email campaign to all the leads in my database. Will this duplication appear in the recipients list as well?
And before sending the campaign do I need to add a tag to all the leads to fetch them while setting up the campaign?

Please help.
